EEC 2940 - Practicum 1 EEC 2940 - Practicum 1 It allows students to study the young child and participate in the early childhood classroom. These settings include Santa Fe Little School and early childhood classrooms in the community. Before the first semester of student teaching (practicum), students must complete the background screening requirements of the specific center where they will be placed. The requirement will change as the student changes centers each semester. The student is responsible for the cost of state, local and federal background screening.
