PHT 2220C - Therapeutic Exercises in Physical Therapy I PHT 2220C - Therapeutic Exercises in Physical Therapy I 2 hours Lecture, 2 hours Lab, 3 credits Lower-Division College Credit The student practices foundational activities and applies functional aspects of therapeutic exercises related to specific orthopedic, medical, surgical, and neurological conditions. The student effectively implements exercise programs and applies data-collection skills (i.e., goniometry and balance testing) within a physical therapist’s plan of care for various patients. Therapeutic exercises are performed for flexibility and joint range-of-motion; muscle strengthening and endurance; balance, coordination, and stability; and to address motor deficits and increase functional skills.
