This course continues advanced theory and lab experience in the respiratory emergencies, gynecology/obstetrics, neonatology, toxicology, endocrinology, trauma (PHTLS), and geriatrics. This course is compliant with the National EMS Education Standards. Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification course is a part of the trauma curriculum. If a student demonstrates competency within the certification course requirements they will be given PHTLS certification. 105 class hours.
