This course presents advanced theory in airway/ventilation, circulation, pharmacology, EKG interpretation, communicable diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and successful completion in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). This course is compliant with the National EMS Education Standards. The ACLS course must be successfully completed within the structure of EMS 2620 and to the satisfaction of the Medical Director and the EMS Program Director in order to continue in the Paramedic Program. 135 class hours.
