Thiscourse is designed to introduce the importance of infection control/risk management in the dental office. Topics include infectious disease prevention, bloodborne pathogens, OSHA regulations, asepsis protocol, instrument processing and the importance of an office infection control program. All current and applicable OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines will also be discussed.
