Drivers that are under the influence of drugs or alcohol pose a hazard to themselves and others. This chapter provides information on how a law enforcement officer detects impaired driving, administers field sobriety tests, makes arrests when appropriate, and records the evidence of a DUI (driving under the influence) offense.
