PHT 1210C - Therapeutic Modalities PHT 1210C - Therapeutic Modalities Knowledge of the physical principles, physiological effects, indications, and contraindications of heat, cold, light, traction, compression, electricity, and massage on the body will be developed and applied. The student will understand selected tests and evaluation procedures which are related to the safe application of modalities and will be able to select the modality or procedure which would be most appropriate for a specified clinical presentation.
