EEC 2940C - Early Childhood Practicum EEC 2940C - Early Childhood Practicum Students will be observed in an early childhood setting to evaluate their competencies working with young children. Students are also required to complete 30 hours of observation/service learning experience in an early childhood setting and to complete a professional portfolio. The course fulfills a portion of the 120 hours of training required for the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) or a National Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
