Admission into the Cardiopulmonary Science program This course introduces students to the evolving role of respiratory therapists in community health care with a focus on patient education for those with respiratory disease. Discussion will include educational methodologies and strategies involving disease self-management for acute and chronic cardiopulmonary illness, community health policy, and state/local emergency management.
