MAT0014 (with a grade of C or higher) Non-Exempt students will need to provide a PERT score of 96-113 or an ACCUPLACER score of 237-260 Corequisite: This course provides a transition from arithmetic to algebra for the purpose of preparing students for college credit-bearing mathematics courses. This course covers operations on polynomials, applications of linear equations, and graphing linear equations and inequalities. Number sense will be embedded throughout this course. The use of a single-line, scientific calculator will be allowed. Successful completion requires a minimum score of 70%.
