This course explores the theories and fundamentals of how and why fires start, spread, and are controlled. It also examines the different forms of matter and energy, along with common substances, and how they relate to fires. The chemical formulas of flammable and combustible substances and the different chemical reactions related to fire and oxidation are covered.
