FFP1540 (with a grade of C or higher) This course provides a survey of pre-engineered and portable systems, extinguishing agents, inspection procedures for code compliance and enforcement, detection and alarm systems, and newer systems available. It includes a study of design characteristics, operational theory, and functional limitations and capabilities. There will be a comparative analysis of the various systems, including the standards governing systems.
