XWD 0277 - American Red Cross CPR 100 Contact Hours The "American Red Cross CPR" Workforce Development Corrections Program course provides essential life-saving skills through the comprehensive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This course covers the fundamental techniques for performing CPR on adults, children, and infants, including chest compressions, rescue breaths, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Participants will gain hands-on experience and confidence through guided practice sessions led by certified instructors. By the end of class, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to responds effectively to cardiac emergencies, ensuring they can provide critical assistance when it matters most. Successful completion of the course results in preparedness and professional requirements. (Classes are funded by the Department of Corrections. No tuition nor fees are collected.)
