XMT 9000 - Introduction to Welding 512 Contact Hours (Offered as Needed) Training will provide specialized instruction from the NWF State College Welding department program. The specialized weld training will include the instruction of welding natural gas distribution piping. The training will meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute welding code 1104. Students will be taught safety, welding equipment set up, electrode selection, and open root welds on carbon pipe in various positions.
