XKD 5076 - Newsroom 101 (8 Hrs) 8 Contact Hours (Offered as Needed) Modern day newspapers are more than the traditional print edition that shows up on the front porch every day. This class led by the Northwest Florida Daily News staff will dive into the difference between creative and online writing, photography, video and digital/social media strategies that are necessary for aspiring young journalists today. Students won't only improve writing/photography/video skills, but also learn how to create their own brand and expand the digital reach of their work.
