XCJ 3632B -- Field Training Officer Course for Corrections 40 Contact Hours (Offered as needed) This course is designed to provide new FTOs with the basic field training skills needed to handle common problems that often occur with new recruits. This includes all aspects of field training and evaluation programs to include adult learning, instruction, evaluation, role responsibilities, and characteristics of the Field Training Officer. Communication techniques, counseling techniques, legal and ethical issues, as well as human motivation are included in this CJSTC approved advanced training course.
