XCJ 3468 -- Supervision of the Youthful Offender 40 Contact hours (Offered as needed) This course is designed to provide the officer with increased knowledge and experience related to youthful offenders. Emphasis will be placed on recognition of the behavioral patterns associated with the youthful offender and how to deal with them. General concepts, officer-offender relationships, treatment, discipline strategies, abnormal behavior and supervision will be covered.
