XAW 1000 -- Flux-Core Welding For Maritime 240 Contact Hours (Offered as needed) The Walton County Inmate Welding Program is a 240-hour course teaching Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), oxy/fuel cutting and blueprint reading for the maritime industry. The goal of the program is to teach the inmates the welding skills and soft skill necessary to find employment in the shipbuilding industry in the Florida Panhandle area.
