XAH5552 - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) 4 Contact hours (Offered as needed) This one-day course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency respiratory management or cardiac arrest. The PALS course is for healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support in pediatric emergencies. Recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest utilizing a systematic approach to pediatric assessment is the focus of this course.
