PHT 1224 -- Therapeutic Techniques and Disabilities 3 Credit Hours (Offered Fall) This course provides an overview of therapeutic exercise principles, including range of motion, stretching, strength training, aquatics, manual therapy, massage, gait training, chest physical therapy, aerobic conditioning, and balance training for disorders commonly encountered across the lifespan. Students develop critical thinking skills to determine appropriate interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
