MAT 0028 -- Developmental Mathematics II 4 College Prep Credits (Offered Fall, Spring, Summer) This course is designed for students whose entry level placement test scores do not meet requirements for degree credit. This course emphasizes concepts, techniques, and applications of the following topics: operations with real numbers, linear equations and inequalities in one variable, rational expressions, properties of exponents, polynomials, radical expressions, and graphs of lines. A grade of "C" or better is required for successful completion of this course. College preparatory credits may not be counted toward fulfilling the number of credits required for a degree. Prerequisite(s): grade of "C" or better in MAT 0018, a score of 96-113 on the PERT, or on an elective basis score 114 or higher on the PERT.
