MAT 0022 -- Developmental Mathematics Combined 6 Credit Hours (Offered Fall, Spring, Summer) This course is designed to satisfy the requirements of both MAT 0018 and MAT 0028 in one semester, and prepare students for MAC 1105C, STA 2023, and MGF 1130. Topics to be studied include computations with decimals, percents, integers, operations with rational and polynomial expression, linear equations and inequalities in one variable, factoring, and basic linear graphing. This course will teach the student to understand and communicate concepts of algebra in the language of mathematics, both orally and written. Due to the nature of this course, calculators are not permitted. A minimum grade of "C" or better is required for successful completion of this course. College preparatory credits may not be applied toward credits required for a degree. Prerequisite(s): score of 50-95 on the PERT Math test
