FFP 0020 -- Firefighter II 301 Clock Hours (Fall, Spring) This course is the second part of the Basic Fire Recruit Academy and prepares students for a career as a firefighter. The delivery of instruction includes a variety of training in practical skills necessary for the mastery of the basic competencies required in the program. Upon successful completion of this course, the student is eligible to take the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training written and practical examination. Permission of the Public Safety Division is required.
