EMS 2231 - Paramedic Processes I 7 Credit Hours (Fall, Spring) First course in the sequence necessary for Paramedic program completion. Designed to integrate concepts & clinical skills learned at the EMT level with advanced life support concepts & skills. Emphasis on patient assessment, pulmonary anatomy & physiology, advanced airway management, pathophysiology & clinical management of shock, medical emergencies & traumatic injuries.
