ART 2752C -- Ceramics Wheel Throwing 3 Credit Hours (Offered Fall, Summer) This course provides an introduction to the techniques, concepts and aesthetics of wheel thrown ceramics. Topics covered include, wheel forming techniques for functional and sculptural ceramics, surface decoration, alteration, colored slips, glaze application,and gas firing kiln techniques.
