Further development of the fundamental concepts of algebra with emphasis on applications and problem solving. Topics include linear and quadratic equations and inequalities; functions and graphs; zeros of polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; systems of equations and inequalities; matrices and determinants; probability and counting arguments.
