ARTS201 — Ceramics II (3 credit hours)

An advanced studio-based continuation of the fundamental methods, practices, and principles of ceramics. Students further explore the themes outlined in ARTS 200, including the continued development of throwing and hand-building skills. An introduction to glaze composition and firing options will be included. Contemporary and historical research will be a necessary component in the formulation of personal style.
