UAS in Agriculture with MSU

A hands-on UAS training program developed by MSU Institute of Agricultural Technology in partnership with Northwestern Michigan College. Students earn an FAA Commercial Drone Pilot Certificate and train on drones used in agriculture, including crop spraying and mapping models. Coursework takes place in the field—covering flight missions, data collection, and technologies such as multispectral cameras, LiDAR sensors, and Pix4D software—scheduled to avoid conflicts with existing MSU coursework or internships.

Prerequisites: Students studying at MSU or enrolled in one of MSU IAT's Certificate programs
