Northwestern Michigan College's Dental Assistant program prepares students for clinical and administrative roles in dental practices. Graduates demonstrate skills in infection control, radiation safety, chairside procedures, dental materials, laboratory duties, preventive dentistry, patient education, and dental office software. The program offers an Associate Degree, Certificate of Achievement, and a CDA to RDA Completion Option. Successful students are detail-oriented team players with strong communication skills and genuine interest in patient care.
