Printmaking

A concentration within the Arts / Fine Arts program at Northwestern Michigan College. Students learn the techniques of mono, relief, intaglio, and lithographic printmaking, including plate, block, and stone preparation, etching, and editioning prints on studio presses. The NMC Printmaking room houses a Takach Lithopress, Graphic Chemical etching press, Conrad relief press, and a small platen letterpress. Students also have access to 30 years of past student work for inspiration.
