Students pursuing a service-learning internship at Northwestern Michigan College must complete an Internship Learning Contract in cooperation with a faculty supervisor and field supervisor. Steps include contacting the course instructor, defining a project aligned with class material and learning objectives, obtaining required signatures, and submitting the contract to the Social Sciences office in Scholars Hall. Confidentiality of any information learned during the internship is required.
