The NMC Police Academy is a 16-week full-time program offered each fall and spring semester. Recruits attend Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday sessions covering physical training, firearms, emergency vehicle operations, criminal investigation, defensive tactics, and UAS. The program concludes with a graduation ceremony and MCOLES Licensing Exam. Course sequence guides lead to an Associate in Applied Science Degree or Certificate of Achievement (Level II) in Law Enforcement.
