Accelerated classes cover the same content as 15-week semester courses in approximately half the time (typically 7 weeks). Students should expect at least double the weekly work commitment. A maximum of two accelerated classes may be taken simultaneously, and four per semester. Suited for self-motivated students with strong time management skills. Transferability and transcript appearance are identical to standard-length classes. Not recommended for Maritime Academy Deck and Engineer program students.
