Physics is the most basic and fundamental science, challenging imaginations with concepts like relativity and string theory. NMC's Physics Program prepares students for careers in industrial and government labs, college campuses, communications, and finance. Students transferring to complete a bachelor's degree should complete Physics 221 and 222, Calculus I–III, Differential Equations, and General Chemistry I & II. Physicists increasingly contribute to molecular biology, biochemistry, and medicine, with medical physicists in high demand.
