The Practical Nursing (LPN) program at Northwestern Michigan College prepares students to care for patients who are sick, injured, recovering, or living with disabilities, working alongside physicians and registered nurses. Completable in two semesters after prerequisites, the program is approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing and accredited by ACEN. Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX State Board Examination for licensure as a practical nurse in Michigan.
