Geography

NMC's Geography Program emphasizes both natural science and social science perspectives, studying physical and biological environments, human societies and their interactions across space and time. Using maps, fieldwork, and geospatial technologies such as GIS, geographers solve real-world problems. Course work includes Physical Geography, Introduction to Geography, and regional courses focusing on the United States, Canada, and the World. A tools course in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is also offered.
