NMC offers two Associate-level Engineering transfer degrees under a two-plus-two model: students complete two years at NMC then transfer to a partnering four-year institution with a guaranteed spot in their chosen major. The Engineering ASA (NMC Code 709) covers core science, math, and engineering fundamentals. The Engineering ASE (NMC Code 736) is an intensive 73-credit transfer degree with directed electives tailored to the student's engineering specialty. Both programs cover calculus, chemistry, physics, and foundational engineering courses. Students must meet with an advisor to complete either degree.
Prerequisites: Students not prepared for Calculus must start at an appropriate level determined by placement test scores or mathematics department faculty
