Biology majors at NMC can earn an Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Science & Arts degree with options in specialized areas. The program has close ties to nursing schools at NMC and the University of Michigan, preparing students for ADN and BSN programs. NMC partners with MSU for an Applied Plant Science Program covering agricultural operations, crop management, and viticulture. Students can also follow a 2+2 transfer path, completing an ASA at NMC then transferring to Michigan Technological University with junior standing to finish a Bachelor of Science in biology.
