NMC's Humanities academic area offers creative educational opportunities spanning graphic design, photography, writing, music, history, and philosophy. Students have access to state-of-the-art computer labs, an impressive photography lab, private instrument instruction, and musical ensemble participation. Available credentials include the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) and Associate in Science and Arts (ASA). Many required ASA courses can be taken online, depending on transfer college requirements.
