NMC's Marine Technology program bridges academics with industry in the marine space, offering both a Bachelor of Science and an Associate in Applied Science. Students develop marine-related technical competencies and project management skills for on- and off-shore careers. Part of the Great Lakes Water Studies Institute, the program uses cutting-edge technology including sonar systems and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). Located at NMC's Waterfront Campus, students gain hands-on experience and access to in-demand employment. Bachelor's degree students may qualify for the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, offering up to $27,500 over five years.
