NMC partners with Munson Medical Center to offer an Associate in Applied Science in Surgical Technology. Up to 10 students are admitted per cohort annually. The program spans four semesters including one summer term, with clinical training at Munson Medical Center, the Surgery Center, or Munson affiliates. Students gain expertise in sterile and aseptic technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures, preparing them to assist surgeons and ensure patient safety in the operating room. The program is accredited by CAAHEP on recommendation of ARC/STSA.
Prerequisites: Completion of all prerequisite courses before applying to the Surgical Technologist Program
