NMC's Early Childhood Education programs prepare students for careers in childcare administration, lead teaching, and caregiving in childcare or preschool settings, working as a paraprofessional or teacher's aide in a school system, or pursuing a bachelor's degree. Three pathways are offered: an Early Childhood Education and Care Level II Certificate, an Early Childhood Education CDA Cohort meeting National CDA credentialing requirements, and an Associate in Applied Science Degree. NMC partners with T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Michigan to provide scholarship funding and support for eligible working professionals.
