NMC offers full-time 16-week police academies for aspiring Michigan law enforcement officers. Two pathways are available: the Law Enforcement Associate in Applied Science Degree for students without a prior degree, and the Law Enforcement Certificate of Achievement Level II (Police Academy) for those who already hold a degree, have served as military police for at least one year, or are agency-sponsored recruits. Both pathways lead to the Michigan MCOLES licensing exam. The program reports 100% job placement.
