NMC's Audio Technology program prepares students for careers in music production and sound recording. Students learn hands-on in studios equipped with industry-standard audio hardware and software recording platforms. The program offers an Associate in Applied Science degree, two Certificates of Achievement (Level I and Level II), and non-credit introductory courses. Graduates pursue careers in studio recording, digital audio, and live sound, and can earn Pro Tools certification. Articulation agreements with Michigan Technological University and Charlevoix-Emmet ISD support transfer pathways.
