WOH1012 — WORLD HISTORY TO 1600: 3 Credits, 3 Hours

(Fall, Spring, Summer) This course explores the major civilizations and historical developments of the world from prehistory to the 17th century. Students will examine the political, social, economic, cultural, and intellectual forces from this timeframe that have shaped human history. Prerequisite: Successful completion of NFC developmental reading and writing course options or appropriate reading and writing placement scores on a postsecondary readiness test. Exemptions may exist; consult an academic advisor.
