(Spring) This course further develops the skills students need for success in administrative office environments. Students will continue to practice skills learned during prior courses of the program and will demonstrate leadership behavior and supervision techniques, train and assist others, deliver impromptu and planned speeches and serve as liaison in public relations situations. Emphasis is placed on work-based learning experiences, developing a career portfolio, obtaining industry certification, and demonstrating job-seeking skills required for the pursuit of a career as a secretary or administrative assistant. Prerequisite: Minimum grades of “C” in OTA 0040C, OTA 0041C, OTA 0030C.
