MAC2233 — APPLIED CALCULUS I: 3 Credits, 3 Hours

(Spring) This is an introductory calculus course with emphasis on applications with business and social sciences. Topics include limits, continuity, differentiation of algebraic, logarithmic, and exponential functions, and basic methods of integration. The T1-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of “C” in MAC 1105 or an appropriate mathematics placement score on a postsecondary readiness test.
