(On Demand) This course is designed to provide an overview of the characteristics and needs of exceptional learners in the K-12 classroom. Focus is on the development of knowledge and skills necessary for inclusive general and special educators to meet the educational needs of students with varying exceptionalities. Specialized instructional methods and strategies for students with exceptionalities are emphasized. This course meets the Florida Educator Certification Renewal Requirement.
