(Fall, Spring, Summer) (8-week course) This course is designed to provide an orientation to exceptional child education. Emphasis will be placed on appropriate needs, placement and resources for exceptional children with a focus on designing programs that enable all children to become active participants in the learning process. This course is 1 of 4 required for the Preschool Specialization [Birth through Five Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC)]. Meets FLDOE renewal requirement for one (1) semester hour in teaching SWD.
