(On Demand) This is a hands-on course that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level security specialist careers. Students will apply the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize security threats and vulnerabilities, and prepare the network devices to mitigate security threats. The skills developed by students who complete this course will prepare them for the Cisco Systems CCNA-Security Certification exam. Prerequisite: Minimum grade of “C” in CET 1600C and CET 1610C. *All computer courses require an additional lab fee.
